On December 4, 1973, Tyra
Banks was born in Inglewood, California. Tyra Banks became the first international woman model and the first
black woman to land on the cover of Illustrated Bikini. Later, she hosted the
reality TV show America's Next Top Model and her daytime talk show, for which she
won two Emmy Awards. Tyra Banks have
continued to expand their business interests in 2014 to launch their own
cosmetics line. While roaming in 2017, Tyra
Banks took Nick Canon's hosting duties on America's Got Talent.

By 1989, at the age of 17, the Tyra Banks had increased their stranglehold phase and began to look

cover runways and magazine covers for years to come. Tyra Banks remember that an agency said that they saw "very
ethnic" and the second said that "there was already a black woman and
she did not want to."
In 1990, still in high school, banks contracted with elite
model management, the world's largest modeling agency. Later that year, she
shot her first print piece for seventeen magazines. After graduating from high
school in 1991, the Tyra Banks enrolled
at Loyola Marimount University in Los Angeles, but the college decided to forward
when Elite offered to send it to Paris for high fashion runway modeling.

Banks grew rapidly to become one of the world's top supermodels
through the ranks of fashion modeling. She booked 25 runway shows in Paris in
1991, while unprecedented achievement for a newcomer to the industry. But by
the middle of the decade of the 1990s, the Tyra
Banks began to lose weight; the model of rail thin clothing was a
restricted sin in the world. Due to being ready to starve them to obtain the
desired body for a high fashion model, the Tyra
Banks decided to return to the United States and switched to swimwear and
lingerie modeling, where the curvier model is more welcome. Tyra Banks says that she has made 20 or
30 pounds heavier than her average model and this is the place where she became
famous. The Secret of Victoria said that she has sold more brides and panties
than anyone else, and she was slipping that runway with more than 30 pounds of
loot compared to other girls.

Banks became the first black woman to come on the cover of GQ In
1996. A year later, she became the first African-American woman to appear on
the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, as well as the first black woman to
appear in Victoria's lingerie list. She signed a fascinating contract with
Cover Girl and Victoria's Secret, which became the head of advertising

Don Banks, was a computer consultant and her mother, Caroline, was a medical
photographer. The parents of the Tyra
Banks became divorced when she was only six years old, but she says that
she was too little for divorce, which was negatively affected by her.
Tyra Banks say that they developed
love for food - and not always healthy food - from very young age, fried
chicken, candied yam and pork chops were consumed in family gatherings. Tyra Banks said that she was taught to
enjoy food, not to be scared. She also developed healthy habits, and started
working with her mother's practice group at the age of six. After her
grandmother died of lung cancer, Tyra
Banks never promised to smoke.

they found themselves at the other end of the social food chain. The sudden
increase left her tall and dirty, and her classmates gave her cruel nickname
like "Giraffe" and "Lightbul head". Tyra Banks said that she went from being a popular girl who looked
normal, was considered a freak. Even so, Tyra
Banks says that teasing and misbehavior taught them the importance of
kindness. It came to know that the best
things in her life were to be joked, and there were no friends, and to feel sad
every day.

Tyra Banks, who rarely discuss
publicly in their romantic lives, have been involved with many celebrities for
many years, including director John Singleton and basketball player Chris
Weber. In January 2016, Tyra Banks and
her longtime lover, Norwegian photographer Erik
Asla, welcomed a child's boy, York Bank Asla. Tyra Banks had previously disclosed their problems with infertility
and their son was transported through surrogate mothers.

Tyra Banks is active in many
social and charitable causes. One of her personal missions is to help the youth
of the youth to deal with issues of self-respect. In early 1992, when she was
only 19 years old, Tyra Banks funded
scholarships to help young black women to attend their Alma Matter in private
Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles. In 1998, she wrote Tiara's Beauty
Inside and out, aiming to inspire young women, and after one year she
established Tijon, which was intended to develop the freedom and self-esteem of
teenage girls.
